Week 8/9

We were off for a week where we planned what we would shoot and develop our ideas about the documentary. After that in week 9 we touched base and we planned more interviews and where to shoot them to help keep the theme of the documentary and the aesthetics we wanted. We then planned to interview Erin's sister in a more formal and controlled setting. This also means the interview would be longer and more in depth than vox pops which will allow the documentary more substance and structure past Vox Pops. We then scouted a location to film our diary entry sections of the vlog by looking at a room in the Big Local and we had to decide if it would look good and if the sound would be good and after turning off a fridge and finding a perfect corner with a sofa to film on we chose that location.

We talked to the costume designer Carole Machin about her role in projects like Moon Knight and Dune and how she got to the position she is in. You can email a lot of people in media to get work experience and if you don't get a response you can always email again and be tenacious to getting that experience. When on a set have a notepad to write the name and a description of people you're introduced to as it will help you stand out by remembering. Write down anywhere you can stay so you aren't just based in the North East. Always read the call sheet.
